Introducing our members, we begin with a stalwart of the Tenor section, Karl Atkinson. He has been a member of the choir since the early days, where we would meet in the local pub in Hale Village. Asked why he joined, he says, “It was local to me, and I wanted to sing”. Enjoying the sense of camaraderie and friendship and harmonising, he has continued for almost 14 years now.
Karl can occasionally be seen in TVs and films as an actor and has been learning to play the saxophone. Karl is also fluent in French!
